This is the first ‘Honorverse’ novel that I have not finished. It reads like and introduction to a novel rather than a novel itself, the characters are flat and uninteesting. I wish I had not bothered to buy the ebook and audiobook a total waste of money. Here you can download it for free and see if you are as disappointed as I was.

just like Americans, he continued an independence movement from the English,
That resulted in freeing his people from English rule in the end.
Indias people were not fully supporting the English in the war. lol. They were looking for any chance to get free from English rule as America had done.
Anything was better than English rule for them, even Russian rule was considered over English.
!947 gave them independence.
How this ties in to the Honor verse “empire” and this book, no idea. lol
