War has come to the Rune Realm. The Goddess Mother has returned, but there is nothing divine about her.
Nate has survived everything thrown his way: powerful professors, deadly trolls in the Forest of Dreams, and the cutthroat chaos of the Questing Games. Each time, he’s defied the odds, finding a way to triumph.
But this is different. This is war.
With Grishna missing, and dozens of other runics vanishing without a trace, Nate and his companions set out to uncover the truth. Their journey will lead them across the Realm, into the arms of unlikely allies, the jaws of buried secrets, and face-to-face with a power unlike any they’ve encountered before.
Classes are over. The Games are done.
The real fight has just begun.

It does make me ask myself what in your background motivates you to give your unsolicited opinion about other peoples’ reading [listening] habits. I’m sorry this isn’t one of your gay books but not all of them can be.
Thank you to the uploader. There’s no such thing as too many elf girls!

thanks a lot! :-)

5/5 This morality guy must be ragebaiting or something. Imagine thinking yourself superior to randos on the internet you don’t know. Jeez. Hope your mental health does better, go touch some grass and let grown adults enjoy what they want, nothing is forcing you into listening to this “filth”.

Personal taste ≠ moral failing.
Harassing strangers ≠ moral virtue.

@morality
We get you don’t like it. We get that you view yourself as somehow morally superior- in spite of a good deal of evidence you’ve provided to the contrary. Obviously this is not for you. And we do not care.
I don’t think it’s for me either, but I also think I’ll give it a listen anyway just to find out why you’re being so rude and irate and, more importantly, to spite you. In fact, I think I’ll head on over to Audible and see if I can actually buy it, to support the author.
And what’s this about a bat? If you’re referring to the entity in the cover art, that appears to be an elf. Tolkien’s elves and humans occasionally married, and if you go back to Norse mythology I’m betting that it occasionally happened there as well. In fact, in Lord of the Rings, Aragorn’s ancestry included not merely men and elves but Maia as well, via Luthien, whose father Thingol was an elven king but whose mother was Melian. So there’s a long tradition of this sort of thing in literature going back at least when the Sons of God looked down and saw that the daughters of men were compatible; and in classical mythology various gods and goddesses were always transforming themselves into things to cheat on their spouses with young men and women. And I’m not even getting into the various satyrs, sirens, nymphs, incubi, succubae, titans, giants and all manner of magical beings that various humans and anthropomorphic deities are constantly getting up to various naughtiness with in classical literature. This isn’t my thing personally, you understand. I prefer my women to be human. But even if there is a ‘bat-girl’ somewhere in the book (I doubt it, but you never know)… Well, I have no problem with cat girls. Japan is apparently full of them. The only difference so far as I see is one letter and some wings. Which, you will note, do not appear in the art.
So maybe you know… stop pretending to have some imaginary moral authority and spend the time you previously devoted to making a fool of yourself thinking. Also, it doesn’t help your position that the entirety of your objection seems to be based on a picture that you didn’t actually pay any attention to.
If you don’t like it, fine… don’t listen. You can even SAY you don’t like it, and explain why. But that’s as far as you have any right to go.

@morality. Normally, I don’t feed trolls, I just ignore them as the ignorant people they are.
Honestly, I doubt your sincerity. I belive you are nothing more than some flamer just trying to stoke arguments.
I never understood adolescent behavior like yours.
I generally prefer sci-fi, historical fiction, and historical documentaries for my listening pleasure.
This just kind of looked like it might be interesting. Figured the story might be, anyway.
But your faked moral superiority, delivered in the manner of a childish rant, convinced nobody, and just made you look foolish.
The Adult thing to do is skip the book you don’t want. Thank the uploader if you do, and just go on with your life.
I have zero interest in gay/lesbian/alphabet group books, so I don’t listen (and don’t bother to comment). If its not your bag then skip it.
To the uploader, Thank you.
To the wannabe morally superior, get a life.

lmao this from a guy who also clicked the link. I’m positive you listen to the book as well and hate yourself for it so you try to take it out on others

@morality
You seem to like hanging out here. Looking at the dates, you seem to come back again and again. That seems like… obsession.
If you must know, I clicked on this title because of the color scheme, looked at the image, compared it with the title, classified it as probable cheap garbage (no offense to the author or uploader meant, just there’s a LOT of this stuff floating around and from the descriptions and covers it all seems very similar, and there’s no realistic way to listen to it all), and then I saw the comments and decided to, frankly, waste my time.
As for you… what IS your obsession? Why do you keep coming back? I can claim accident first and then curiosity. Why did YOU click? then click again? And again?
Also… you show a deplorable lack of maturity. I suppose we need to ask… are you OLD enough to be listening to audiobooks like this?

Speaking of the uploader…
as anyone but @Morality might gather, this title is not in my primary area of interest per se. But I’d like to thank you for uploading it and making it available. I know it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and some of us deal with that in… more childish and embarrassing ways than others, but we -most of us- appreciate you taking the time and the bandwidth to make stories available- whether we like the specific story in question or not. On behalf of everyone but a certain someone, thank you.
Please, keep it up!
After all, a proper library has a variety of books, not just what one person likes, and everyone is bound to be able to find one or two books that they dislike. I’m sure even @Morality would appreciate this, if any kind of mental process had been undertaken on that… person’s part.
