I suggested to my Trump-hating friends that they notice the state of the union today and see how it changes over the next four years. Someone posted this on FB and I’m filing it away. But I’m certain they aren’t listening.
For all of you Biden voters, I am posting this so it will show back up as a future memory on my timeline:
Today is one day after the Biden electoral confirmation. Gasoline is currently $2.19 per gallon. Interest rates are 2.25% for a 30 year mortgage. The stock market closed at 30829.40 though we have been fighting COVID for 11 months. Our GDP growth for the 3rd Qtr was 33.1%. We had the best economy ever until COVID and it is recovering well. We have not had any new wars or conflicts in the last 4 years. North Korea has been under control and has not been testing any missiles. ISIS has not been heard from for over 3 years. The housing market is the strongest it has been in years. Homes have appreciated at an unbelievable rate and are selling well, and let’s not forget that peace deals in the Middle East were signed by four countries—unprecedented!
Unemployment sits at 6.7% in spite of COVID.
Low personal and corporate income tax rates. (Business-21%)
Lowest unemployment rate for blacks, minorities and women ever.
Biden/Harris takes over on 1-20-21, let’s see how fast things change
A Kangaroo Kourt by a bunch of Swamp Creatures. Abd some in America are too Stupid to see it.
Trump’s popularity will only grow!

apollo60- you greatly overestimate the power of any president over the economy, among other things.
The one area where national leadership *really* makes a huge difference is in response to a brand-new deadly viral pandemic…like COVID-19.
Trump’s failure here has resulted in a massive number of deaths, and it is even worse when overall excess mortality is calculated.
His failure to take seriously the pandemic has also devastated the economy, esp much of the service sector. And many of those workers are now scraping by with the help of contract & gig work, so they are not counted as unemployed (nor are people who did not actively seek employment during the 4 week period surveyed, and many restaurant workers are not looking for work right now)

How do you get these? I subscribe and they took away the Mp3 download from the website so no I’m relying on torrents to listen.
