  I own/have purchased the paperback version of this book - but because the Audiobook is not available in my country (for unknown legal reasons) the only way that I can listen to a copy is by downloading it here. Think before you write out comments like this - it DOES NOT equal stealing.

  I did? So, if I download it from audible it equals stealing? LOL You’re obviously NOT Bob Mayer. You can’t even properly construct a sentence.

  Also many states allow you to steal (download) this material freely and legally so check with your state and local libraries.

  Here is interesting reading that explains the traditional CONSUMERS copyrights. It’s called “First Sale Doctrine” and provides that you can sell, rent for profit, etc, your book. Publisher don’t like that and pushed the rights not extend to electronic version.

  I love & bought the paperbacks from Orbit but the English audiobooks can’t be bought in my country (only available in UK & AUS).

  I had one question though, is this Baptism of Fire audiobook the unabridged version? Audible Aus lists the runtime as 11hrs 57mins and these two files total only 9hrs 55mins.

  Thank you for putting this up, it’s the only place I can find it. I listened to it all the way through… all 9 hours and 55 mins… but then it cut off in the middle of a sentence. I’m not sure if the book was about to end at that place and it just cut off a bit early, or if there was still a few more hours. It seemed a bit strange that it was so short, so I’m inclined to think the second. I’ll read it in the fan fic I guess, but just so you know the end is missing from the file. Thanks for putting the rest up though, all the files played great (and the other books as well!)
