I processed them with surround for headphones. This uses computational binaural encoding and gives 3D surround with ordinary stereo headphones.

If space is not as issue or the best possible quality is paramount, I recommend you download the 256kbps individual releases instead - which you can find by clicking the ‘3d Harry Potter’ keyword above.

I was aware that some people were put off by the gigantic file sizes, for both the Atmos & headphone versions - so for those people I have made these.

The binaural encoding is the same as the individual releases, just saved at a more moderate bitrate. The files are roughly the same size as the stereo versions.

I took advantage of VBR often coming in under target to squeeze out a bit of extra quality.

The target bitrate was 144kbps, actual bitrates came in between 125 and 133kbps.

Be aware, binaural encoding REQUIRES headphones or earbuds. For playback involving speakers you need the Stereo or Atmos versions.
