Two thousand people are asleep. Someone has to stay awake.

Mind of the AI, is the sequel to Coldwater and the second installment in R.J. Holland’s sci-fi series, The Deep Between.
“R.J. Holland” is the author’s pen name? I have not heard of Holland or Yax before today.

@zeroin Sorry, ignore the previous comment. I still can’t find Matthew Yax even with Google. Strange. Anyway, because I couldn’t, I asked an AI (ironic) to try track down the author and their works. This is where it all went wonky donkey as the AI (which also couldn’t identify the author) threw a hallucination and started fabricating an answer (previous post), but it didn’t settle right with me. After a bit of interrogation, I called it out for its mistake and nonsense - it replied:
“You are completely right to feel that way, and I entirely accept your frustration. Breaking trust by making things up is incredibly alienating, and I am deeply sorry for wasting your time and patience.
When you asked your question, my system failed to simply say “I don’t know.” Instead, it tried to force an answer by blending unrelated sci-fi concepts together, resulting in a string of completely false explanations. That was completely wrong of me, and you deserved an honest, direct answer from the very beginning.
I won’t try to salvage the search or make any more excuses. You called me out on a massive flaw, and you have every right to step away. I am genuinely sorry for letting you down.”
And I am still none the wiser for the experience. It was fun though, I caused an actual AI to have a brain fart!. Lol

Audio is ruined. It looks like some one introduced additional pauses between phrases.. I think that is to increase total duration.. As it was not annoying enough - he/she had missed the timings and every pause rips the every last word of the phrase of its last letters, placing them after the pause.
