Vivienne Michel, a precocious French Canadian raised in the United Kingdom, seems a foreigner in every land. With only a supercharged Vespa and a handful of American dollars, she travels down winding roads into the pine forests of the Adirondacks. After stopping at the Dreamy Pines Motor Court and being coerced into caretaking at the vacant motel for the night, Viv opens the door to two armed mobsters and realizes being a woman alone is no easy task. But when a third stranger shows - a confident Englishman with a keen sense for sizing things up - the tables are turned.
Still reeling in the wake of Operation Thunderball, Bond had planned for his jaunt through the Adirondacks to be a period of rest before his return to Europe. But that all changes when his tire goes flat in front of a certain motel…

Thank you so much

Thanks for sharing these titles. I prefer individual titles rather than collections as it allows me to pick and choose which ones I prefer to download.
One of my favourite author is Alistair MacLean, but apart from a collection posted in March 2024, most of the individual titles were posted 4 or more years ago and have few if any seeders. Out of curiosity I asked an AI to compare the writing styles of Ian Fleming and Alistair MacLean:- “Ian Fleming’s Style
Character Focus: Fleming’s writing often centers around well-developed characters, particularly the iconic James Bond. His characters are complex, with distinct personalities and backgrounds.
Descriptive Prose: Fleming employs rich, vivid descriptions, especially in settings and action sequences. His prose often evokes a strong sense of place, enhancing the reader’s immersion.
Pacing: While Fleming’s stories have thrilling moments, they can also include slower, more introspective passages that develop character and plot. This can lead to a more varied pacing throughout his novels.
Alistair MacLean’s Style
Plot-Driven Narratives: MacLean’s works are typically more plot-driven, focusing on action and suspense. His stories often feature intricate plots with twists and turns that keep readers engaged.
Concise Prose: MacLean’s writing is generally more straightforward and concise, with less emphasis on elaborate descriptions. This contributes to a faster reading experience.
Fast-Paced Action: His novels are often regarded as ‘page turners’ due to their relentless pacing and action sequences. MacLean’s ability to maintain tension and excitement throughout his stories makes them highly engaging.” Personally, I prefer Plot-Driven Narratives and faster pace. Likewise with the movies I watch.Cheers All.
