There are many millions of people who have in the last 30-40 years, had physically died from 1-15 minutes (some more) and were resuscitated. Any they all say that consciousness does not exist in the brain, that when we die we leave these meat suits and go back home until we decide when we want to be born into another life, either here or on millions of other available planets in this universe.
Many doctors and other professionals who have had NDE’s have done a lot of research and are leaders in trying to get this information out. If you have any interest in consciousness, you really should listen to people who had NDE’s, no one else is even remotely qualified to talk about what is on the other side, and there is a LOT of people and strong evidence for it.
I like to say, you laugh at the thought of Near Death Experience’s until you have one.

Have you had one? If not, why are you ‘remotely qualified’ to talk about it? Simply because you like the idea, and take the opinions of others who say they have had such an event. Do you understand what confirmation bias is? I am not trying to have a go at you, simply you, without any personal experience, have made your mind up about what is true, and close your mind to all other arguments or ideas. Do you think that is someone we should listen to ?

I have died (Heart stoppage) 4 times in my life. I was dead up to 4 minutes at one point. No Near death experience for me. I was deprived of oxygen for 5 minutes once and had vivid thoughts and a bright light. My heart never stopped then. Kind of makes you wonder if lack of oxygen to the brain is the cause and not some higher power.
Ockham’s razor
: a scientific and philosophical rule that entities should not be multiplied unnecessarily which is interpreted as requiring that the simplest of competing theories be preferred to the more complex or that explanations of unknown phenomena be sought first in terms of known quantities.
So on one had you have the afterlife made by a all powerful God and when you die you live forever. Near death experience proves that for you.
On the other hand you have a very complex quantum computer (Your brain) deprived of basic resources to function properly. So it causes errors in your perception. ( Near death experiences)

NDEs don’t prove anything. A dying brain stops working properly. Everything goes wrong and is unpredictable. Sometimes he cuts off pain and suffering by projecting some visions.
