I read this book in December. I dont remember any lgbtq moments in the book. Either way, it serves its purpose. It was entertaining and passed the time. Definitely gonna read book 2.

I only listed the LGBT because the MC (male) is attracted to guys and girls. Otherwise, it is largely LGBT-neutral. I figured it was better to go into it with eyes open.
It is still a good story and I too will read book 2.

I was worried about the LGBT tag because I can’t stand harem / smut books as they take away from the immersement. There are like 3 times where he mentions the attractiveness of a male character but they aren’t even human and it isn’t even like he is being lustful. Reminds me more of recognizing some males are attractive like Ryan Reynolds.
This is a science litrpg that is worth the read. Highly recommend.

Yea I was a few hours in and thought maybe the LBGT tag was because one of the nonhumans was a they, but then the centaur-elk guy was described as “hot”. I also dislike the harem books and there was no relationship stuff in this book at all. It was a nice science focused book and I enjoyed it.

Thanks for posting good share. When I grew up all the straight story lines and books I read didnt stop me from being attracted to my own gender. If the reality that some people find their own sex attractive in books is really enough to turn people gay then thats some powerful writing. I thought it was normally a little alcohol that did that to people that worry too much and fixate on what other people might do in the bedroom. Makes you think should I be more careful and ask for warnings if any book has non asexual characters lol. Live a little people be part of the community and try and love yourself. A passing thought isn’t really going to make you gay simply human.

I tend to think of the LGBT tag as another version of a romance tag. Don’t really care about the sexual preferences of other, real or fictional, people. But not a fan of romance novels. Buut the description didn’t give even the slightest hint of that so I was going to give it a try before I ready the comments and had my low opinion of our species as a whole reinforced.

Thanks for the LGBT tag as otherwise I would have jumped straight in due to Phil Thron being a great narrator.
Previously I listened to another book which didn’t list it, and the main guy was simply stated as being bi in the book, I thought, no problems I don’t care and continued on.
Only by book 3 did I, a straight dude, have to listen to guy on guy action being narrated by a very excited man…… not my cup of tea.
Pity as I really liked that series, but it was like watching gay porn, not an experience I want to undergo again.
